Sometimes this happens to us, we are enjoying something until suddenly....it's gone! Sometimes we have to leave and let go. Holding on to something that is gone cannot do us much good, especially when what it was is gone forever.
This may sound rather harsh, as we are all in loss in our lives at one point or the other. It is easier said than done, but we all have to move on, God will always have something better for us, if He allowed it to go in the first place, it is because He definitely has something better for us.
His word says,"......forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"- Philippians 3:13,14

I came to thank you for commenting on my "beautiful" entry. Then I read your post and realize now that this was intended for ME to read this morning :o)
I am in a season of letting go of some things in my life. It may be that this season passes at some point, but for now, they must go.
